Overview

We’ll be bringing together over 100 trustees plus many charity and governance expert speakers to celebrate Trustees Week 2026 at a conference in Edinburgh. Hosted by SCVO, we will celebrate the work trustees do and share inspiration, experience and knowledge. With interactive sessions and lots of opportunities for networking and learning, it will be an opportunity for you to reflect and develop your knowledge and understanding of good governance. 

Description

We’ll be hearing from:

• Scotland’s top charity lawyers on what they think are the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector right now
• SCVO’s own digital experts who will be talking about recent trends in digital leadership, AI and cyber. They will be reflecting on how trustees can make the most of digital to achieve their missions more effectively
• Climate change experts to help you make sure your organisation, and your mission, is sustainable and future proofed
• Sector experts on how to make your money and resources go further against a background of rising costs, volatile funding and increasing demand for services. Topics covered will include charity investments, VAT and tax, and savings on utility bills

We'll be celebrating all that trustees do and creating a space for connection, learning and networking. Join us with your challenges and questions to access practical support and information.
