- Overview
How was your digital year of 2026 and what are your hopes for your digital 2027.
As the year draws to a close, it's time to pause, reflect, and decide what deserves a place in our carry-on luggage for the journey ahead.
2026 has brought new challenges, changing priorities, digital developments, and valuable lessons across the voluntary sector. Some ideas, habits, and ways of working have helped us move forward. Others may be ready to stay behind.
Join us and our special guests ( to be announced) in the DigiShift departure lounge for an interactive retrospective where we'll take stock of the past year and collectively explore what will help our organisations thrive in 2027.
- Overall aim
What we'll explore,
- What digital practices, tools, and approaches are worth taking into 2027
- What barriers, frustrations, or habits should be left behind in 2026
- Key lessons learned from a year of change and adaptation
- Emerging opportunities we want to embrace in the year ahead
- Collective priorities for building a stronger, more confident digital sector
- Description
This highly interactive DigiShift session invites participants to reflect on the journey through 2026 and contribute their perspectives on the future.
Using a collaborative "departure lounge" format, we'll identify the ideas, behaviours, technologies, and ways of working that are helping us create impact, as well as those that may no longer serve us.
Through discussion, reflection, and shared learning, we'll build a picture of what the sector wants to carry forward and what it is ready to leave behind.
Whether you're celebrating successes or failures, navigating challenges, or looking ahead to what's next, this session offers a chance to learn from peers and help shape the conversation for 2027.
- Who is the event aimed at?
Anyone working at any level in a charity or community organisation with an interest in digital change, innovation, and organisational development.
